Iris valves DIR
DIR iris valves are designed to regulate air flow and measure its consumption in round air ducts. Structurally, DIR valves are an iris diaphragm installed in a housing with round connecting pipes. An easy-to-read adjustment scale is applied to the valve housing and connecting nipples are installed to measure the pressure drop on it. By setting the position of the diaphragm petals according to the scale marks and measuring the pressure drop on the valve using a differential pressure gauge, it is possible to determine the air flow passing through the valve with high accuracy.
DIR air valves are controlled manually.
The valves remain operational and can be used regardless of the spatial position of their installation. The use of iris valves allows to significantly simplify the process of adjusting ventilation systems.
The body and control plates of the valves are made of galvanized steel sheet. The body pipes are equipped with rubber seals, which ensures tightness of the connection with the air ducts/
Operating temperature from -20 ° C to 80 ° C
