ARCA Silencers
ARCA Series
ARCA series circular silencers are designed to reduce noise in air conditioning systems with circular air ducts. They are used in air distribution systems to absorb fan noise.
The outer casing and perforated inner contour are made of galvanized sheet steel, the thickness of the insulation made of non-flammable sound-absorbing material is 50 or 100 mm.
Design features
- Rigid design of the circular silencer
- Noise reduction coefficient complies with DIN EN ISO 7235
- Casing tightness complies with DIN EN 1751, class A
- The connecting pipes at both ends for connection to a circular air duct have circumferential grooves for sealing gaskets and comply with DIN EN 1506 or DIN EN 13180 (if required, sealing gaskets are installed by the manufacturer). The design with flanges with holes complies with DIN 12220
Materials
- Housing, perforated inner contour and sound-absorbing insert made of galvanized sheet steel
- Mineral wool sound-absorbing material complies with DIN 4102, fire hazard class A2, RAL-GZ 388 quality mark, biodegradable according to TRGS 905 and EU Directive 97/69/EG
- Sound-absorbing material for peel protection is bonded with glass wool, withstands air flows up to 20 m/s
